CERN
Across Facebook, spread across a number of different pages, CERN has 50,000 fans. A fantastic number of people who support the organisation, but not a united community in which users can easily engage with each other and the company they endorse.
CERN wanted to see their thousands of fans all affiliated with one controlled Facebook website, and to provide a way for these supporters to then find out about and apply for the jobs available within the company.
We needed to seamlessly consolidate CERN’s thousands of Facebook fans onto their new, official identity, giving them control over their brand online as well as the ability to both see exactly what was being said and engage with the conversation.
On top of that, we needed to provide them with a recruitment channel within Facebook, allowing them to engage prospective candidates and recruit within the social environment.
Working with Facebook we consolidated all other CERN identities, resulting in one official Facebook page. We then provided a social media content strategy so that CERN knew how to properly engage with this amazing number of new connections.
Our engagement application, built using our Content Management System (CMS), then provided a fully user-friendly recruitment function for CERN. Potential employees can explore what it’s like to work at CERN and apply directly for CERN’s available roles – all from within the social arena.
CERN are now in control of their identity on Facebook, controlling and engaging with their supporters, and have seen a vast increase in the number of engaged fans who then turned into interested candidates. See what they said about our service below:
